Full disclosure: I’ve pivoted my work over and over again. I’ve been a writer, non-profit grantmaker, financial analyst, project manager, learning & development leader, founder & freelancer, coach and investor. I have been stuck in many ruts, and yanked myself out, every. dang. time.
Being stuck is a natural part of the ebb and flow of working life. Stuckness is a continuum that stretches from boredom all the way to feeling deep-down trapped, and big-shock events like COVID-19 or layoffs can make these feelings more acute. It’s perfectly natural to feel this way! And yet you don’t have to settle for staying, or feeling, stuck.
I’ve written about how to get unstuck, even during these crazy times, over at EMPower Equity Partners. (EMPower Equity boosts women’s superpowers in leadership, negotiation and capital-raising.) Filled with practical and creative tactics you can put to use right now — you can read it here.
